Why You Should Support Friends of the Desert Mountains
There are many to contribute to making our planet a better place. One of those ways is community service. I know what you're thinking- well, what kind of community service?? Where do I even start?? You can start by supporting the Friends of the Desert Mountains!
In order to support Friends of the Desert Mountains, you'll need to understand who they are. Of course, the more people that come together and work on a cause, the more of an impact it will have. FDM has partnered with several other organizations, including U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management. Together, Friends of the Desert Mountains will preserve the natural beauty of the desert. And not just the desert! Everything and everyone in it! The people, the plants, and the animals.
Now you know who the Friends of the Desert Mountains are, but what do they even do? How much have they impacted the planet? Well, their mission is to protect and preserve the natural beauty and wildlife of the Desert Mountains as well as Coachella Valley. So far, they've saved an incredibly rare desert riparian habitat and now own Whitewater Trout Farm, a historic site. They've turned it into a national monument where local hikers and tourists can sit down and enjoy a good picnic while admiring the beauty of the area.
You know all about the Friends of the Desert Mountains, but I know I forgot the big question. WHY should you support them? If you supported them, you'd be helping to protect wildlife and preserving natural habitats. It's also equivalent to community service, which is a great thing to add to your list of good deeds! Nothings says 'good citizen' like community service and saving the wildlife of our planet!
You know who the Friends of the Desert Mountain are, what they do, how they've helped. So, support them! They're only making a better place for you and your family to live in. Not only rich in wildlife and natural beauty, but also rich in support and friendship. Giving to the community can forge some great bonds!
